Managing Your Subscription

Paid User

Your PATHS subscription is managed through Stripe, a secure payment platform. This guide covers how to view your plan, make changes, and access billing history.

Viewing Your Current Plan

Click your avatar in the top-right corner of the navigation bar.
Select Account from the dropdown menu.
Navigate to the Billing section to see your current plan, including tier name, billing cycle (monthly or yearly), and next renewal date.

Upgrading Your Plan

If you want access to more content, you can upgrade to a higher tier at any time.

Go to the Billing section of your account page.
Click Manage Subscription to open the Stripe customer portal.
In the Stripe portal, select a new plan. Available tiers are Regular, Premium, and Enterprise.
Confirm the change. Upgrades take effect immediately, and you will be charged the prorated difference for the current billing period.

When you upgrade, you gain immediate access to all content at your new tier level. There is no waiting period.

Downgrading Your Plan

You can downgrade to a lower tier through the same Stripe portal.

  • Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
  • You retain access to your current tier's content until the period ends.
  • Your course enrollments and progress are preserved, but you will not be able to access lesson content above your new tier.

Cancelling Your Subscription

Open the Billing section and click Manage Subscription.
In the Stripe portal, select Cancel plan.
Confirm the cancellation. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

After cancellation takes effect, your account reverts to the free tier. You will lose access to paid content but your account, enrollments, and progress history are preserved. You can resubscribe at any time to regain access.

Payment History

The Stripe customer portal provides a full history of your invoices and payments. You can download invoices as PDF for your records.

Billing Security

All payment processing is handled by Stripe. The PATHS platform does not store your credit card details or sensitive payment information. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified, the highest level of payment security certification.

What payment methods are accepted?

Stripe supports all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and others). The available payment methods may vary by region.

Can I switch between monthly and yearly billing?

Yes. You can change your billing cycle through the Stripe customer portal. Switching to yearly billing typically offers a discount compared to monthly payments.
