Reviewing Content
EditorWhen a contributor finishes drafting an article, they submit it for review by changing its status to In Review. As an Editor, your job is to evaluate these submissions for quality, accuracy, and readiness.
Finding Articles to Review
Open the Articles collection from the admin sidebar.
Click the Status column header or use the filter controls to filter by In Review.
Articles are listed with their last-modified date — prioritize older submissions to keep the pipeline moving.

What to Look For
When reviewing an article, assess it across these dimensions:
- Accuracy — Are the claims factually correct? Are sources or references appropriate for the topic?
- Clarity — Is the writing clear and accessible to the target audience? Are complex concepts explained well?
- Structure — Does the article flow logically? Are headings, sections, and paragraphs well-organized?
- Formatting — Are rich text elements (lists, callouts, embedded media) used correctly? Do images have alt text?
- Completeness — Does the article cover its topic adequately? Are there obvious gaps?
Reviewing the Article
Click into the article to open the full editor view.
Read through the content in the rich text editor. You can preview how it will appear on the frontend by using the preview function if available.
Check metadata fields — title, description, category, and tags should all be filled in appropriately.
If the article includes quiz questions, verify that correct answers are marked and explanations are provided.

You can make minor formatting fixes directly in the editor. For substantive changes, send the article back to the contributor with notes rather than rewriting their content.
After Your Review
Once you have assessed the article, you have two paths forward:
- Approve it — If the article meets standards, move it to Approved. See Approving Content.
- Request changes — If improvements are needed, move it back to Draft with feedback. See Working with Contributors.
