Creating & Managing Courses
AdminCourses are the core educational product of PATHS. Each course contains a structured hierarchy of modules and lessons that guide learners through longevity topics.
Course Structure

Courses follow a three-level hierarchy:
- Course — The top-level container with a title, description, access level, and content pillar.
- Modules — Thematic sections within a course (e.g., "Fundamentals of Sleep Hygiene").
- Lessons — Individual learning units within a module, containing rich text content and optional video embeds.

Adding Lessons

No direct video hosting
PATHS uses YouTube and Vimeo embeds only. Upload your videos to either platform and paste the embed URL into the Video Embed block.
Ordering Content
Module and lesson order is controlled by the numeric order field. Items with lower order numbers appear first. If two items share the same order number, their display order may be unpredictable — assign unique order values.
Publishing Courses
Editorial workflow stages
Courses follow the same editorial workflow as articles:
- Draft — Initial creation, visible only to admins and the creator.
- In Review — Submitted for editorial review.
- Approved — Reviewed and approved by an editor.
- Published — Live and visible to learners with sufficient access level.
Access level gating
Even after publishing, a course is only visible to users whose membership tier meets or exceeds the course's access level. A premium course (access level 3) is invisible to free-tier users.
